YOUR FIRST DAY

Attending a day program for the first time can feel overwhelming. Below we have included all of the information that will help you feel a bit more prepared for the day.

WHO ATTENDS THE PROGRAM

Our programs consist of 10-15 older adults like you who may be experiencing some kind of physical or cognitive decline but are looking to remain active in their community.

WHAT DO OUR DAYS INVOLVE

Our doors open at 9:30am which is when our clients gather to visit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Our mornings usually include some kind of seated physical exercise, followed by a cognitive game. We are served a warm lunch each day prepared fresh by our onsite cooks at noon. In the afternoon we may go outside, enjoy some type of entertainment, or participate in games like cornhole or shuffleboard. After 3:00pm families and rides come and pick-up our clients to go home.

WHY DO PEOPLE ATTEND

Day Programs are an excellent way for clients to get out of their homes and socialize with their peers in a safe and fun environment. Day programs provide respite for caregivers while maintaining and improving the overall wellness of those they care for.
